Telehealth lets you meet your provider over secure video. Before your first telehealth visit, you will review and sign a telehealth consent through our secure patient portal.
Eligibility
- You must be physically located in California at the time of each visit.
- You will need a device with a camera and microphone, a reliable connection and a private space.
Benefits and limitations
Telehealth can improve convenience and access. It also has limits: technical problems may occur, and some situations require an in-person evaluation or a higher level of care. Your provider will discuss whether telehealth is appropriate for you.
Privacy
Visits use a HIPAA-compliant platform. Visits are not recorded without your consent.
Emergencies during a visit
At the start of each visit we confirm your location and an emergency contact, so we can get help to you if needed.
